Privacy Policy

Akazispace runs this website and the company accounts on it. Companies verify their work email and publish their own jobs, and anyone can browse them.

What we collect depends on how you use Akazispace.

• Company accounts: your company name, work email address, a password (stored in a protected form, never as plain text), and the details you add to your company profile and job listings.
• Verification: the 6-digit codes we email to confirm a work email, and whether it was confirmed.
• Job seekers: you don't need an account to browse jobs. Jobs you save are kept in your own browser and aren't sent to us. When you apply, you do it on the company's own website, and that company receives what you send it.
• Newsletter: your email address, if you subscribe to job updates.
• Technical data: basic details such as IP address, browser and the pages you visit, recorded in server logs to keep the service secure and working.

• To create company accounts and verify work email addresses.
• To publish company profiles and job listings.
• To send service emails, such as verification codes, password resets and account notices.
• To send job updates if you subscribed. You can unsubscribe at any time.
• To keep Akazispace secure and prevent abuse.
• To understand how the site is used and to improve it.

Company profiles and job listings are public by design. Anyone can see a company's name, description and logo, and the jobs it publishes. Your account email address and password are never shown publicly.

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run Akazispace (for example hosting, database and email delivery), who may use it only to provide their service to us; with authorities, when the law requires it; and with a buyer, if Akazispace is ever sold, who must protect it in the same way.

Akazispace uses only what it needs to work: a sign-in session for company accounts, and your browser's local storage to remember the jobs you save. We do not use advertising cookies. If we add analytics, we will update this page first.

We use encrypted connections, store passwords in a protected form and limit who can access personal data. No system is perfectly secure, so please choose a strong password that you don't use anywhere else.

We keep company account data while the account is open. When an account is closed, we delete or anonymise its personal data unless the law requires us to keep some of it for longer. Server logs are kept for a short period.

You can ask us to show you the personal data we hold about you, correct it or delete it. Company account holders can also edit their details from their dashboard. To make a request, email hello@akazi.space and we will reply as soon as we can. If you believe we have handled your data unfairly, you can also complain to the data protection authority.

Akazispace is for people looking for work and for companies hiring. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will update the date at the top of this page and, for account holders, tell you by email.
